An off-the-peg suit rarely fits perfectly. At Zekos Express on Sempacherstrasse 19 in Lucerne we alter jackets, suit trousers and waistcoats: shorten sleeves, take in the sides or back, hem trousers, adjust the waist. You try the suit on with us, we pin it and tell you the price straight away.
We shorten sleeves for CHF 60.– (plain), CHF 68.– with cuff and CHF 70.– with buttonholes. Taking the sides in or out costs CHF 65.–, the back CHF 60.–. Shortening the overall length costs CHF 80.– (with vent CHF 90.–). Adjusting the shoulders is a big job and costs CHF 170.–.
We hem suit trousers with tape for CHF 37.–, with turn-ups for CHF 40.–. Taking the waist in or out costs CHF 47.– (with extra fabric CHF 75.–). Narrowing the legs costs CHF 40.– to 55.–.

Usually yes: the right sleeve and trouser length alone makes a suit look tailor-made. If the shoulders are clearly too wide, the work is extensive – at the fitting we tell you honestly what is worth doing.
In the same shop we also clean suits, coats and shirts – washing and ironing a shirt costs CHF 3.90. So you collect your suit altered and freshly cleaned. Suits, evening and wedding dresses take a little longer than simple hems because at least one fitting is involved.
