The sooner, the better
Many stains on a wedding dress are invisible on the day itself: champagne, icing or fruit juice dry almost without a trace and turn yellowish over time. The longer a dress hangs in the wardrobe, the harder it is to clean. So it is best to bring it in during the first weeks after the wedding – fresh stains can usually still be lifted well.
